Sharad Talwar

Sharad is an engineering graduate from IIT Kharagpur (1981-85) and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad (1986-88). He has more than 30 years of rich experience in corporate sector and has worked at CEO/CXO levels for reputed organizations such as HCL, Pearson, Educomp, Convergys, Dell, GE Capital, Syntel, Knowledge Podium etc. Sharad recently joined in the leadership team of Persistent Systems, a leading public listed IT Product and Solutions company.

Sharad has extensively worked in strategic planning, building and growing businesses in large multinational organizations across Technology, Education, Services, ITES/BPO/KPO and transport/logistics sectors. He is proficient in managing P&L while achieving sustainable growth in revenue and profits by identifying opportunities and creating business alliances.

Sharad also serves as an Independent Director on the board of two digital companies, 100 percent owned by S Chand, which in turn is listed in the stock market. Sharad is also an affiliate mentor and syndicate member of Padup Ventures, which is an early stage incubator, primarily in the technology domain.
