Namrata Kaul

Namrata Kaul is a career banker with over 30 years of experience in Corporate and Investment banking, Debt Capital markets and Corporate finance. Through her career with Deutsche Bank and ANZ Grindlays Bank, she held senior leadership positions both in India and UK leading and managing diverse teams, delivering record revenues and executing successful client transactions. As Managing Director at Deutsche Bank AG, Namrata led the Corporate Bank practice as its India head where she built a compelling business vertical and a diverse client portfolio across multiple industries whilst managing risk, credit, compliances and regulatory reporting. She has a deep understanding of the financial industry, rich experience of dealing with Indian and Multinational Corporates across diverse sectors and has access to a vast Industry network both in India and Europe.

An investor in technology platforms, Namrata is engaged in an advising and mentoring several early stage Fintechs. Namrata serves on the Boards of Vivriti Capital Ltd, Prime Securities Ltd and Bhopal Smart City Corporation. She is passionate about and actively engaged in the Social Development sector. She is Vice Chair and Director on the Supervisory Board of Care International (Geneva), a leading international humanitarian & development organisation. She is also a Board Member at Care India and serves on the audit committee of Sewagram, Udaipur. She has earlier been a member of the Deutsche Bank Asia Executive Committee and a Member of the Board of Deutsche Bank India.

Namrata is a Chevening scholar from the London School of Economics. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University and is a Management Postgraduate from IIM Ahmedabad.
