The STPI Apiary, a Centre of Excellence in Blockchain Technology is setup in collaboration with MeitY, STPI, Govt. of Haryana, Padup Venture Private Limited, IBM, Intel, GBA, JCBOSEUST and FITT. This is an initiative, to identify and evaluate promising start-ups in the field of Blockchain Technology that will be hosted in the STPI Gurugram Incubation Facility.
Pankaj Thakar, founder and chief mentor at Padup, is also the chief mentor for STPI Apiary.
The inaugural programme of STPI Apiary took place on March 23. It was a virtual meetup graced by the presence of Shri Ajay Prakash Shawney, Secretary, Ministry of Electronics & IT, Govt of India, Dr. Omkar Rai, Director General, STPI, and many others. The keynote address was delivered by Shri Ajay Prakash Sawhney.
The Tech Talk part of the inaugural programme included a fireside chat between Pankaj and Vish Bajaj, CEO of ValueFirst.
STPI Apiary will revolutionize Blockchain incubation ecosystem by fostering R&D, innovation & entrepreneurship while nurturing startups to build indigenous products.
