We have recently concluded our signature BootUp programs as well as a condensed, fast tracked bootcamp that we call PrepUp.
BootUp UnLtd
UnLtd India is a launchpad for social entrepreneurs in India. Its mission is to find, support and growdifferent entrepreneurial individualswith passion and ideas to bring about long-lasting solutions to pressing problems in India.
PadUp has teamed up with UnLtd India to offerour BootUp program to these social enterprises that will help them validate their ideas & handhold them througha stage of their entrepreneurial journey.
The participants go through a structured process of discovering the new andlatent needs they need tofulfil, or problems they want to solve, so they can reach the funders and generate those resources to create the desired impact.
This 12-week program aims to support social entrepreneurs in UnLtd India’s July’'21 cohort.
MSH BootUp
To run MSH BootUp, PadUp has teamed up with MeitY Startup Hub (MSH). MSH BootUp has two parts - BootUp and RevvUp. BootUp is a 14 Week Bootcamp For Customer & Market discovery and Raise Seed/ Angel Funding. The participating start-ups are from the domains of Biotech, Agri-tech, Solid Waste Management, Edutech, Data Analytics, among others. All these start-ups are recipients of TIDE grant from MEITY through various Incubators across the country.
The BootUp program culminated in a Demo day held on September 25, 2021, where eligible startups showcased their ideas to around 20 angel and seed investors.
Apiary BootUp
The first cohort of Apiary BootUp has also been recently concluded and the participants are preparing for their Demo Day pitches.
This cohort consisted of 10 start-ups that are engaged in applying blockchain technology to problems across various domainslike Edutech, Agritech,Smart Contracts, Fintech, Pharma, and so on.
FITT PrepUp
This is a fast-tracked, 6-week online program for which we had teamed up with FITT-an industrial interface organisation
FITT was established at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) as a Registered Society on 9th July 1992. The mission of FITT is to be an effective Interface with the Industry to foster, promote and sustain commercialization of Science and Technology in the Institute for mutual benefits.
Around18 start-ups signed up for this fast-tracked program conducted between April 7, 2021 and June 9,2021. Selected startups from this cohort have already pitched to investors and received investor interest.
BootUp Lockathon 2.0
In keeping with PadUp’s mission of nation building, we found an innovative way of making Startups and entrepreneurs utilise their time on hand during the Covid induced lockdowns by engaging them through the interactive online mentoring & educational bootcamp we call BootUp Lockathon.
Combining Entrepreneurial Education Mentoring and Funding in structured & proven process, the Bootcamp Lockathon is meant for entrepreneurs to validate their Idea & build a Proof of Concept.
Both iterations of the BootUp Lockathon culminated in respective Demo Days where investors turned up to give their nod to over 80 percent of theparticipants who pitched their ideas.
NSUT BootUp
Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) is a seat of higher technical education in India. NSUT has also set-up an incubation center for incubation of start-ups and promotion of entrepreneurship amongst the students and its neighboring areas.
NSUT engaged PadUp ventures to help it further improve and accelerate the process of incubation of startups. PadUp conducted a BootUp program for students of NSUT and incubatees of NSUTIIF.
The participation and applications were from NSUT and a couple of other institutions. It established NSUT as the preferred incubator and a breeding ground of student let startups in Delhi-NCR region, with significantly external participation in the program.
